Fraudulent emails are currently in circulation, using our name, our logo, and also the Shopify logo. These messages do not originate from Sell Your Stuff Online (SYSO).
Several entrepreneurs have approached us about this. Fortunately, they were sharp enough to be suspicious and contact us. Thank you for that. We believe it is important to communicate this directly and openly.
What's going on?
- The sender uses a Gmail address that resembles our brand, for example:
shopify.sellyourstuffonline@gmail.com, hello.sellyourstuffonline.nl@gmail.com, or similar variants - These emails offer things like a "free Shopify audit" or "Growth Upgrade." The content appears professional and credible, but the sender is not affiliated with SYSO.
- We only use email addresses with our official domain: @sellyourstuffonline.nl
🚨 If you receive a message from a different email address, it is not from us.
What can you do if you receive such an email?
- Do not click on links or buttons
- Do not download attachments
- Do not reply to the message
- Forward the email to info@sellyourstuffonline.nl so we can document it

Report the spam directly to Google via:
- Inform other entrepreneurs if necessary
The more reports Google receives, the faster such a fraudulent account will be closed.

We have reported this matter to:
- Google (abuse and impersonation)
- Shopify Partners and Experts
- Relevant platforms where necessary
In addition, we are actively monitoring the situation.
Both Google and Shopify, and we, take this very seriously. Our name and reputation are built on trust, and we protect that carefully.

Online fraud is becoming increasingly sophisticated. Spammers use AI, official logos, and credible texts to gain trust. That makes vigilance more important than ever.
