Cornelia Servies is the online shop for lovers of special tableware. Founder Patricia sells a beautifully curated assortment of dinnerware, mugs, glasses, and table decoration from unique brands you won't find everywhere. From the iconic Cornishware to the playful collections of Yvonne Ellen London and the colorful Pip Studio, everything revolves around products that give your table that little bit extra.

The Shopify webshop

The webshop is built with Shopify, the software we have been using for years to build professional webshops. An excellent SaaS e-commerce solution that grows with the company and comes standard with many automatic marketing options.

Moving from Mijnwebwinkel is no easy task. However, this is precisely what we are good at. We have been moving webshops for several years now. All products have been carefully transferred, including redirects to maintain SEO (and GEO) ranking. The result is a webshop that finally works as it should: faster, clearer, and ready for growth.

We asked Patricia from Cornelia Servies a few questions

When and why did you start your business?

More than ten years ago, alongside my then-job, I started Cornelia Servies. I was looking for an addition to my Cornishware dinnerware. In many stores, I mostly saw the same standard collections that are available everywhere. That made me decide to start importing and selling Cornishware. That was the start of Cornelia Servies.

My focus is on special brands and unique finds that are not yet sold in the Netherlands. I am constantly looking for new collections that give your table that little bit extra. I am now a full-time entrepreneur and happily continue to build Cornelia Servies every day.

What is your favorite product (category) in the assortment?

That's almost impossible to choose. Blue Cornishware holds a special place in my heart. I've been using it myself for over 30 years. It's timeless, strong, and fits into any interior. In addition, I am a big fan of the Yvonne Ellen London collection. A playful dinnerware line with animals and subtle slogans. It immediately adds ambiance to the table and always brings a smile.

I curate my assortment by feel: I only choose collections that I fully support and would use myself at home.

What made you decide to enlist SYSO?

Previously, I had been working with Mijnwebwinkel for years. The website was outdated, and I felt it was time for the next step. However, I found it daunting to switch to a new platform, especially with a domain migration and hundreds of products. Through Happlify, I met Mariko. During the initial consultation, it became clear that SYSO could completely unburden me: from technology to migration and setup. That gave me the confidence to make the leap.

What are you most happy about with the new webshop?

I am especially happy with the professional appearance and the speed of the webshop. Everything works smoothly and clearly, both for me and for my customers. In addition, it's nice that everything comes together in one platform: social media, Google, newsletters, and a well-designed checkout. This ensures greater ease of use and a better shopping experience.

May I know your future plans?

My focus for the coming period is to further strengthen the Cornelia Servies brand as the place for lovers of stylish dining. By adding exclusive brands, deepening the customer experience, and further expanding our online visibility, we are working towards a sustainable growth phase where quality and experience are central.
