One important thing: video. Because let's face it, wouldn't you rather click on 'play' than read a piece of text?! Do you find it difficult to make a video of yourself and your store? It certainly isn't, at most a bit 'exciting' because you literally put yourself 'in the picture'.
As Zarayda Groenhart says, it is real: 'Video is becoming visible in a pressure cooker' . Youtube is the second largest search engine after Google. Video is also still growing on Instagram and Facebook and is always given priority as content. Research shows, among other things, that:
- 90% (!) of people who watch a product video say it helps them make a purchase decision
- 64% of consumers are more likely to buy a product after watching a product video
- 80% of viewers remember a video ad for a month
- your webshop/site is 53 x more findable on Google if you have videos on it
Not a bad idea at all to really get started with (YouTube) video! Because why now (also in 2021!!) only 9% of SMEs use YouTube?
