It was May 13th OpenAI's Spring Update event and it was huge. OpenAI came with a number of groundbreaking updates that will absolutely revolutionize the way we interact with AI. I would like to inform you about this, without you having to delve into everything yourself.
The new features and capabilities of ChatGPT 40, as the latest model is now called, include:
- The Voice Assistant : Meet the AI assistant that brings the vision of Scarlett Johansson's 'Her' to life. Also in Dutch by the way! She still sounds a bit like Eva Jinek.
- Emotional AI : ChatGPT can now almost flawlessly mimic and detect emotions in real time. That's bizarre!
- Real-time demos : Impressive live demonstrations are already circulating that showcase ChatGPT's ability to understand and respond to human emotions and speech.
- New desktop app : There will be a ChatGPT desktop app with vision capabilities, allowing for seamless integration with the workflow on your computer.
- Multilingual Translation : ChatGPT can now effortlessly translate between different languages, making communication between two totally speaking people smoother than ever.
- Advanced Features : From generating 3D objects to summarizing lectures, discover how ChatGPT continues to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI.

What's in it for you?
Not a lot at the moment, but what isn't available will probably come very soon. The presence of AI is already everywhere and seems to be doubling as you read this. The next Apple Keynote is scheduled for Monday, June 10 and the story goes that Apple will replace Cire with the OpenAI solution. If that happens, the above will immediately be accessible to the general public. Which it actually already is.
