Beezonder had already moved from Mijnwebwinkel to Shopify for some time. Owner Suzanne had done this herself with the help of our Shopify course. I liked the system, but after a while it felt like something was still missing, the shop was not finished and the need for a good B2B webshop also grew.
Suzanne therefore turned to SYSO and we were happy to give her webshop a major revamp and an automated B2B shop. Here you can read and see the result.
Who is (so) Special?
Suzanne, the graphic designer and driving force behind Beezonder, discovered her passion for screen printing in 2014. This led to the launch of her first line of environmentally conscious products, including cotton bags, cushion covers and cutting boards with unique designs featuring quirky, raw quotes. Since then, Beezonder has continuously expanded its range and is now known as a distinctive brand with its own webshop.
Result
Both the B2C and the B2B webshop are made with Shopify , a good SaaS e-commerce solution that grows with the company and is equipped with many automatic marketing options as standard. We opted for an extensive and flexible theme that could go in any direction. Both shops now have beautiful, large atmospheric images with direct links to products, a nice countdown option, a 'shop together' block and beautifully laid out pages where the cheerful branding and products now stand out much better. An important fact is that the conversion has increased considerably.
We asked Suzanne van Beezonder a few questions
When and why did you start your business?
As a graphic designer with a new-found passion for screen printing, I took the plunge in 2014 with my own line of eco-friendly bags, pillow covers and cutting boards. Since then the range has continued to grow and change - always looking for that perfect new product. But hey, I could never have done this without my dream team: John, my family and friends. They are the heroes behind the scenes at Beezonder events, the brains behind those great quotes and designs, my source of support when things go wrong, and not to forget: the superheroes who have already helped pack thousands of products!
What do you think is the best product (category) from the range?
It's hot off the press, but it's my personal favorite: The bag with neon red Peeing balloon dog . Such a lovely bright colour! And just newly launched: the personalized toiletry bags !
What made you decide to hire SYSO?
I have already followed several courses and webinars with Mariko, and one thing always became immediately clear: if you describe what you are looking for or want, Mariko will sense what you mean. All very smoothly.
What are you most happy with when it comes to the new webshop?
And how! The webshop exudes exactly what I wanted and it finally works professionally.
May I ask you what the future plans are?
I want to grow! There is still a large list of products that I would like to include in the range and I hope to soon be able to expand with personalized items.
